If you had to go through a dark alley, who are you taking with you? There is a great difference between being peaceful and being innocuous—one is a virtue, and the other a deficiency. Men should be both dangerous and good. If you are only one, but not the other, you will only add to the suffering of those around you. If you are not good, you will cause much suffering. If you are not dangerous, you will be unable to confront evil and mitigate the suffering around you. We will build men who are both dangerous and good.
Forging Resilience Through Adversity
Our players will learn to conquer adversity by being repeatedly pushed to their limits and intentionally rebuilt each time. They will develop strength and resilience through relentless challenges, emerging stronger with each trial. This process of breaking down and rebuilding instills the courage and tenacity needed to face any obstacle, both on the field and in life, ensuring they are equipped to stand firm in the face of evil or hardship.

Our players will be endowed with purposeful duty daily.
Discipline and Accountability
Our players will learn to bridle their actions, emotions, and impulses by being held accountable to the highest standards and by honoring the boundaries we set for them. This discipline is the foundation of their growth, teaching them to act with purpose and restraint. By adhering to these standards, they become men who can be trusted to lead with integrity, ensuring their strength is tempered with goodness.
Building a Family on Love and Truth
The health of our Dark Alley family will be built on the rock of consistent love, truth, and discipline. This unshakeable foundation fosters a brotherhood where players support and uplift one another. Through unwavering commitment to these values, we create a cohesive unit that thrives both on the field and in the community, united by a shared purpose and mutual respect.
Pillars of Family and Community
We will forge men who become pillars of their families and communities by loving, protecting, serving, and cultivating those entrusted to them. Our players are trained not just to excel in football but to lead meaningful lives, contributing to the flourishing of those around them. This commitment to service ensures their impact extends far beyond the game.
Servant Leadership from Coaches
Our coaches will model this standard daily through servant leadership. By demonstrating what it means to be both dangerous and good, they guide players with humility, dedication, and accountability. Their example sets the tone for the program, showing players how to lead with strength and compassion in every aspect of their lives.
Purposeful Men for a Flourishing Society
Men require purpose for fulfillment, and society requires purposeful men for its flourishing. Men without purpose are a liability. Our players will be endowed with purposeful duty daily, and they will be loved and invested in long after their last game. This ongoing commitment ensures they grow into men who contribute meaningfully to their communities.
Meek in Hall, Fierce in Battle
Our coaches and players, in the words of C.S. Lewis, will be able to both “deal in blood and iron” and be “meek in hall.” Let it always be said of both our coaches and players, “Never did I know fear when you were there.” We will be both dangerous and good, embodying a defense that hunts with ferocity while maintaining humility and grace off the field. #HUNT
As a coach, be the man you demand your players to be. Hold your players to a high standard & yourself to a higher one. Players know if you are who you say you are. Lead.
