Frisco, TX — In a commanding performance Thursday night at Kuykendall Stadium, the Prosper Walnut Grove Wildcats rolled past the Frisco Liberty Redhawks, 70-14. From the opening drive to the closing buzzer, Walnut Grove showed why it’s one of the state’s elite 5A Division II powers.

Offensive Balance, Defensive Pressure

Walnut Grove’s #SmashTheGas offense was surgical and relentless, piling up 491 total yards — 252 through the air and 239 on the ground — while scoring on every possession. Quarterback Hayes Hackney was lights-out, going 11-of-13 for 219 yards and five touchdown passes.

The ground game was equally impressive. Cam Newton carried the load with nine rushes for 125 yards and two scores, and Cam King added two rushing touchdowns of his own.

Their swarming defense forced Liberty into tough situations all night including 1 forced fumble and 2 interceptions.
